The happiness media forgot
Media usually strives for striking headlines, that´s what we think people want. It is important for media to show sufferings and disasters but there is always another side to it, not many things or situations are black and white. “The Happiness Media Forgot” is a complement to today´s media coverage, we want to show a more dignified and accurate image of the people in Ethiopia, Uganda and Egypt.
Exhibited at Rydals museum in 2003 and Galleri Kontrast in Stockholm, Sweden in 2004.
